Variety Cryptic 1: Hungry Monster!

Here's my first go at a variety cryptic, loosely inspired by joeadultman and herzwesten 's text adventure cryptics . It's like three mini variety cryptics in a trenchcoat! Thanks to Jake Eakle and Liari for testing and providing helpful feedback. Puzzle Solution

Midi Cryptic 5: That was awful!

This puzzle was a collaboration with myself from 5 months ago. Hopefully it's not as awful as the title suggests! Thanks to Mallimack for testing and looking over my edits. Built by bolgat using PuzzleMe's online cross word builder

Midi Cryptic 4: Eradicate Hunger

Here's a puzzle that will eradicate hunger, if everyone was only hungry for tricky cryptic clues. Thanks to sam e, Mallimack , Liari , and Umpire for testing and providing excellent feedback!

Big Cryptic 1: Cycle Around Arby's

Here's my first full-size cryptic! I tried writing these clues with misleading definitions in mind, particularly with many of the shorter entries. It turned out that as a result I've got a lot of proper nouns in my clues! Most of them should be approachable, but there's a few here and there that I'd say are pretty tricky. Thanks to sam e and Mallimack for their thorough feedback during the playtests!

Midi Cryptic 3: A Nice Ten by Eight for Beginners

The New Yorker cryptics were once one of the most consistent sources of easy cryptics, but unfortunately they stopped publishing them at some point. To make up for it, I tried to make my own! This should play much easier than my previous two cryptics. Thanks to sam e, Joe , and Mallimack for their excellent feedback during the playtests.

Midi Cryptic 2: Destined to Overwhelm

Happy Fourth of July! Here's a midi cryptic to celebrate. It's not thematic, but it does include references to baseball and gridiron football as well as a word that's spelled differently on either side of the Atlantic. Hopefully you find it fresh and spicy. Thanks to sam e and Mallimack for their excellent feedback during the playtests.
